What You Need to Know Before Booking Future Appointments

​

As beauty professionals trained in proper cleaning procedures, you can be assured your health has always been our priority.  Here's what we have always done:

​

  • All beauty professionals and front desk staff wash and sanitize their hands before and after each service.

  • All instruments, tools, and hard surfaces are cleaned and sanitized between each client.

  • All towels and gowns are used once and then washed in hot water with bleach.

  • Regular clients have their own personalized foot file, nail file, buffer, facial sponge, etc. New sets can be purchased for $7.50.

  • Gloves are worn by our technicians for manicure & pedicure treatments and changed between each client.

  • Our payment terminal, front desk, and phones are cleaned and sanitized regularly.

  • Our bathroom is monitored constantly and cleaned frequently.

What's new from our Government, Coastal Health, and WorkSafe BC due to Covid-19:

​

  • By appointment only.  We highly recommend you book your appointments online HERE. Booking by phone, email, text, social media messaging may result in delayed responses.

  • As of March 11, 2022, masks are not mandatory. However, due to the nature of our business we recommend and appreciate our clients to continue to wear a mask while inside our spa. Our technicians will continue to be required to wear a mask.

  • Clients will be required to wash/sanitize hands upon arrival and when you leave.

  • We have plexiglass in the appropriate areas necessary. 

  • We ensure that all of our surfaces are wiped down regularly.

  • Please ask for assistance for product purchase.

  • Please pay by credit card (tap is available for purchases under $200) or E-transfer to opentobeauty@gmail.com.

  • For your safety, please understand that if any of our technicians have any symptoms of illness, appointments may be cancelled with very little notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we will reschedule to the best of our abilities.

  • We are allowing a maximum of 6 customers inside our establishment at a time. Otherwise, please wait outside until you are called in for you appointment.

  • Please stay at least 2 metres/6 feet apart from our other clients.

  • Please do not bring any accompanying guests who don't have an appointment.

  • If possible, please do not use our washroom unless absolutely necessary.

  • Please check back regularly as these rules will be updated without notice.

Please do not come if you:

​

  • Have travelled outside of the Lower Mainland/YVR within the last 14 days

  • Have been identified by Public Health as a close contact of someone with COVID-19

  • Have been told to isolate by Public Health

  • Are displaying any of the following new or worsening symptoms:

    • Fever or chills

    • Extreme fatigue or tiredness​

    • Cough

    • Headache

    • Loss of sense of smell or taste

    • Body aches

    • Difficulty breathing

    • Nausea or vomiting

    • Sore throat

    • Diarrhea

    • Loss of appetite
